Business Cards

Firstly I researched business card designs using Pinterest and google.

I then designed two pencil drafts based on how I wanted my business cards to look and noted that I wanted to include analogous colours. Also both designs included a geometric pattern which is an element I liked and noticed when researching.

I then made a pattern based on my first draft using the shape tool (hexagon) and aligning them using the 'shift' button when duplicating. I selected them individually to change the colours, and deleted the excess parts of the shape to fit the template.

I then used these hexagons for the front of the design, but deleting some hexagons to create white space. I added a black hexagon so the information had a block colour background to make the text more readable.

I duplicated each side 8 times and saved the files as a jpg. individually.

This enabled me to print them aligned back to back.
