Cover Copy

This is the magazine cover I am copying by 'Company'.

I took photos and this was the one which most accurately copied the original. I edited it in photoshop; changing the levels, hue, saturation and lightness.





























I chose the font 'Bebas Neue' for the header as this copies the originals' accurately; sans serif and bold. I found the colour myself; a pink toned nude.

I then added the cover line 'Ibiza' in the font 'hello goodbye', which contrasts the header.

At this point I added the backgrounds and surrounding features of the cover lines. This is to enable me to see the cover lines when placed and to position them correctly.

At this point I added a separate photo of the top of the head so that it sat above the header. I then had to make this correct size and place it correctly.

Then I added the cover lines using the fonts ; Later On, The Brown Fox, Bebas Neue, Sansasation, Hello Goodbye.

At this point I added the further detail; sunset/clothes combination. To do this I used the elliptical tool to create the circle shaped sunset image. Then I placed in the images and rotating them by placing the centre point in the centre of the circle.

This is my final cover copy.
